Looking for something to do this weekend? Now that the Steamhouse Lounge is settled in at their new location, they are bringing back their much loved Oysterfest. I have already committed to an out of town chili cook-off with my crew; the best I can do is hit it up Sunday afternoon. Click on the flyer for full details. A undisclosed portion of the proceeds are going to Keep Atlanta Beautiful.
From the website:
The Steamhouse Lounge is proud to present the 26th Annual Oysterfest by our new location in Midtown on 11th Street between West Peachtree & Peachtree Walk. Oysterfest draws thousands of party-goers who enjoy live music, good eats, cold beer and good old-fashioned fun. In-the-know veterans flock to our doors for over 40,000 pounds of oysters, 100 gallons of the award-winning Steamhouse lobster bisque, plenty of Budweiser and our signature Goombay Smash. Saturday will feature musical performances by The Sundogs, Unzipt, Swami Gone Bananas, State of Man and Justin with Dean Dollar, Magic Hat, The Issues, Pink Steel and Ménage et Trois on Sunday.
One day tickets are $12 in advance or $15 at the gate and two day tickets are $18 in advance and $20 at the gate. A portion of proceeds will benefit Keep Atlanta Beautiful. This is an all ages event.
