How to cook a Turkey Thanksgiving posts are lame. Seriously … has there been any major breakthrough in Turkey Day technology whereby last year’s “So awesome you’ll never need another turkey recipe” is somehow out of date by today’s “So awesome you’ll never need another turkey recipe” standards? Didn’t think so.
So it takes a lot to motivate this guy to put up a Thanksgiving inspired post … that was until I discovered Tante Marie, who, judging by her twitter feed and website, is a polite lady with plenty of years of wisdom under her chef’s jacket. Ah … not so fast mon frere!
Turns out, old white ladies can be quite a hoot and Tante Marie from San Francisco is no exception. I guess a certain amount of irreverence comes with age and while her advice on how to prepare a proper thanksgiving meal seems tried and true, her attitude is just plain awesome.
The true NSFW payoff is about 38 seconds into the video, but I suggest you watch the whole thing. What’s better than a nice old lady dropping booby jokes? Not much if you ask me!
