Win Free Copies Of Food, Inc. And Fast Food Nation [Buddhaway]

Alright ladies and germs… it’s time for another little thank you.  This one comes courtesy of the peeps at Magnolia Pictures)!  On the heels of the release of the Food Inc documentary, I’ve scored five copies each of both Food Inc. by Karl Weber (otherwise known as Food Inc.: A Participant Guide: How Industrial Food is Making Us Sicker, Fatter, and Poorer-And What You Can Do About It) and Fast Food Nation by Eric Schlosser.  Details on how to win after the jump!

Ya’ll have better things to do than read through a bunch of rules and regulations, so I’m going to keep this short and sweet.

Next week, I will be giving away one book every day.  You’re just going to have to wait around to see how.  For the other five books, that’s a different story!  There are three ways to win … so here goes:

1) Recipe Submission: Submit (via my contact form) one recipe of your choice.  To keep with the spirit of Food Inc., the recipe must utilize local ingredients and deliver a healthy, nutritious meal.  While I certainly don’t mind you using inspiration from other recipes, I want something that is uniquely you.  The recipe will be turned into a post here on FB.  The winning submission will go live one week from Monday.  While you can’t submit photos via my contact form, if you have some available … let me know.  All I can say is … it can’t hurt.  The winner gets a copy of both books.

2) Restaurant Review: Similar to above, shoot me a restaurant review.  While there are no restrictions on the type of cuisine, make sure the restaurant focuses on locally available products.  You don’t have to follow any formula here … and the review can be as long or as short as you’d like.  Again, pictures are completely optional.  Post will go live one week from Tuesday. Again, the winner gets a copy of both books.

3) Say Something: Have something interesting to say … well – let me here it.  I don’t care what it is … but put some thought in it.  The winner will receive one of the books.  Again, use the contact form.

Now for those of you shy folk, fear not – I will gladly let you be anonymous when the posts go public.  However, you’re going to have to give me a real way to get in touch with you – otherwise – how will i get you your prize.

Alright peeps, that’s all she wrote.  However, feel free to peruse the movie website and watch the trailer:
