John Kessler, one of Atlanta’s more well known foodies, recently took a trip to the much discussed omakase room at MF Buckhead. For those unfamiliar, MF restaurants are known around town as much for their price point as they are for their food.

Blog post: Omakase room at MF Buckhead
MF is not quite my favorite sushi in the Dirty, currently that title goes to Sushi House Hayakawa, and it is not my favorite all-time (take a guess); however, it is certainly a top flight establishment and the good VASTLY outweighs the bad. I have dinned at MF Sushi Bar as much as anyone; and, while proximity is a factor, that fact should still tell you something.
Chef/owner Chris Kinjo puts together a fairly high end meal and a lot of foodies are itching to try it. Consider me one of those people! Although … the $350 price tag is a barrier to entry (to say the least). I’m actually going to be going sometime soon – I’m just not sure when. I’ll update you’ll with a full report when I have the chance.
