I’ve actually got a slew of openings to report on! Unfortunately, today is a busy day for me so I’ll focus on just one for now. The St. Regis in Buckhead has been at the center of foodie talk with regards to the upcoming Pano’s restaurant. Well, the Buckhead Life Restaurant Group isn’t the only one getting in on the new digs.
A restaurant by the name of Paces 88 is scheduled to open along with the hotel on April 11. I must say that the lineup is impressive. Jonathan Jerusalmy has been brought in to team with local studs Mark Alba and Hervé Pennequin. Alba previously served as executive chef at Food Studio while Pennequin was the sommelier at Nikolai’s Roof.
The restaurant is a bit of a departure for the St. Regis. Normally, the Starwood run hotel goes the ultra high-end route. This time, will be a farm-to-table bistro but with a higher price point than some local alternatives. Lunch entrées will run $12-$27 with the night counterparts coming in at roughly double that.
Despite the elevated price point, you can bet your bottom dollar that I’ll be there as soon as possible! Oh, and before I forget – the restaurant (and hotel) are located at 88 Paces Ferry Road. I’ll add it to the April Dirty List which will be up in the next day or so.
