In case you missed it, the Travel Channel’s Man v. Food debuted their Atlanta Episode on January 7th. If you were unable to catch it, fear not! The show will be rebroadcast this Sunday at 8pm (that’s Sunday January 25, 2009 on the Travel Channel). Details after the jump.
In addition to a handful of activities, the crew visited The Vortex in Little Five, Gladys Knight & Ron Winan’s Chicken & Waffles in Midtown, and Big Pie in the Sky in Kennesaw.
At the Vortex, they took on the Double Bypass Burger, a hunk of meat served in between two grilled cheese sandwiches. They got comfortable with Gladys back in the kitchen at Chicken & Waffles. Meanwhile, at Big Pie in the Sky, they took on the famed but feared Carnivore Challenge. This sucker is an 11-pound pizza that stretches 30-inches in diameter. If that weren’t enough, it’s topped with “All the Meats.” I won’t spoil the event for you. The deal is that if Adam Richman finished the pizza in under an hour, they get $250 in house money.
