It’s time for take two of the BATON Supper Series. This time, Atlanta gets treated to the food of New York chef Tien Ho, who came to fame at Momofuku’s inspired Má Pêche and Ssam Bar, is the super stud who’s going to do the cooking. For those that missed the premier, BATON is a monthly supper club run out of Gato Bizco in Atlanta’s historic Candler Park and it’s operated by Atlanta residents Moses Archuleta and Bryson Tedford. What makes BATON so special is that the highly thematic meals are cooked by a well known chef who hails from a far away place. In other words, it’s a great way to step outside your comfort zone without leaving your hometown.
BATON was originally scheduled to run the last Monday and Tuesday of every month; however, the holidays threw a wrench in the dates for this month’s club. This dinner is $60 per head and is CASH ONLY (don’t worry – there’s a nearby ATM if you forget). Beverages are available for purchase for an additional cost and there is an optional $30 pairing if you so choose. While the menu is top secret, the theme for this meal is fête du boeuf – which means there should be lots of ox on the menu.
You can always keep track of things on BATON website, but here are the details for this month’s dinner:
